A little bit about me...
Hey! My name is Lauren and I live on the North Shore of Oahu! My favorite things to do is be in nature, go on adventures, surf, and mostly just spend time with the people I love. Photography, videography, books and music are what inspires me and brings joy to me creatively :) I come from a family of 4 awesome brothers. I was born in Missouri and have since lived in 6 different states and 3 different countries! I moved to Oahu 7 years ago to study and it has become our little home :) I love to travel and experience different cultures. My biggest dreams are to be a momma, travel the world, and start my own Non-profit organization someday :) Lets be friends!!
Our Love Story...
I have been married to my best friend Josh for almost 2 years now! We met on a blind date the summer of 2012 while I was visiting my family in Utah and Josh was studying there. Everybody who knew the both of us seemed to think it would be a match made in heaven, so finally josh's sister Natalia and our friend jeff set us up! I put him in the friend zone at first haha, but luckily he decided to chase me out to Hawaii. As we got to know each other more, we soon became the best of friends, until that winter, when Josh gave me a little more than a kiss ;) After that we were hooked at the hip, sharing the same love of adventuring, surfing, and spending way too much time at the beach. Josh was the guy who would laugh with me, cry with me, and always went the extra mile to make me feel like the most special part of his life. He was the person I wanted to do everything with and tell everything to! It was so hard to say goodbye and go our seperate ways when I left that summer on a church mission to Argentina for a year and a half. But ever since the day I returned, things magically and weirdly fell right back into place! We got engaged 6 months later when we went on a spur of the moment 2 week adventure to New Zealand and were married on 8-8-15 on the little island where we fell in love. <3
